Playing with Prep

This just in! Pull out your Polo, pearls and paramount gossip because preppy fashion is back and more youthful than ever. The early 2000s left us yearning for pink and green, yacht parties and daddy’s AMEX but not to fear the streets are becoming a y2k playground as the youth break boundaries with independent style and attitude.

Unlike the usual upper-class stigma of prep style, this new wave of prep is for anyone willing to play around with colorful fashion and the juxtaposition of clean cuts and shaggy silhouettes. Now, prep is not just seen on the Met steps or for the uptight southern socialites, but for the limitless youth who are dare to be progressive and aren’t afraid to push past those white picket fences. Ladies, throw on your Jack Rogers and gentlemen hem your shorts because we are playing a little game of new wave nostalgia.
