I Spy… a diamond, a white bear, and candles.
For over 80 years, I Spy has continued their contribution to each generation. Not only expanding our critical thinking but also strengthening our willingness to learn by using stunning visuals. I Spy books can also help children with improving their memory. The I Spy books were started by Charles Warrell, a self-published author in 1948. Warrell believed that kids should be actively learning which was his motivation for creating the famous book series. What started out as a passionate teacher wanting his students to expand their learning turned into a franchise that has sold 25 million copies worldwide.
Each book has different themes creating new fantasies for all of us. They continue to evolve these ideas with each new generation by using modern technology. I Spy games were released on the Nintendo DS during the early 2010s with games like I Spy Universe and I Spy Fun House, but nothing will exude nostalgia quite like opening an I Spy book.
