In senior Fibers major Sana Bhatia’s fashion collection Beautiful Tragedy she weaves different stories from various cultures into beautifully alluring garments. The collection is full of tailored suits and clothes covered in eye-catching yet elegantly subtle patterns and colors. The concept for the collection is beauty and tragedy. She expresses events and stories that range from the Ides of March to the sacrifices and rituals performed by the Mayans. This collection represents the tragedy of different societies; and, in a way, brings life to maximalist garments that are as thought-provoking as they are stunning.
