Victoria Beckham Beauty

A recent press release confirms fans’ inklings that something has been brewing within Victoria Beckham’s empire— she is set to launch her own beauty brand sometime in A/W 2019. Victoria, who took the world by storm in both the music industry and the fashion world, has had her sights set on the realm of beauty for some time now and isn’t a foreigner to it. Her 14 piece collaboration with Estée Lauder in 2016—which was so successful that two collections followed— whet her appetite enough to fuel what will become Victoria Beckham Beauty.

Beckham won’t be embarking on her endeavor alone. Sarah Creal, the former Estée Lauder executive in charge of the previous collaboration is the co-founder of the upcoming brand as well as the CEO. Their plans for any products are still tightly under wraps but there have been a few hints dropped that the products will span across multiple different categories. As for their business model, Victoria Beckham Beauty will be implementing a direct to consumer approach which has been made popular as of late by other favorite millennial beauty brands. Beckham mentioned, “I was going direct to the consumer with regards to fashion before I had a standalone store, so this isn’t new to me”.

Creating this direct relationship with the customer is extremely important to Beckham. She stated, “Just like I spend so much time in the fitting room getting to know what my customers want to wear, I’m going to be asking women to tell me which products they want me to develop for them in the beauty and wellness arenas. It’s important for me to know what they want.” Her products will be sold exclusively on her website and all marketing will be supplemented by her own YouTube channel and social media accounts.

With all of Victoria’s successes throughout multiple different fields, there’s no doubt that whatever Victoria Beckham Beauty brings to the market will be as chic, elegant and lovable as its namesake. A/W 2019 can’t come soon enough as we wait to see what Posh Spice has to offer.
