Student Media seeks graphic designer

SCAD Student Media seeks a currently enrolled student to serve as graphic designer for five media platforms: District, SCAD Radio, The Manor, Port City Review, The HoneyDripper and Render Q.

Student Media’s Graphic Designer is responsible for producing information graphics, printed marketing collateral and the annual arts journal, Port City Review. This individual should have a solid command of Adobe Creative Suite and be capable of conceiving, composing and delivering projects on tight deadlines while collaborating with student leaders and staff members.

The graphic designer will gain valuable experience in project management, graphic design and print production. Specifically, the Creative Director will achieve the following benchmarks in Spring Quarter:

  • Lead the branding and effort for Render Q, a soon-to-be-launched digital media blog.
  • Design marketing materials for a fall 2019 recruitment effort.
  • Make posters for District, SCAD Radio, The Manor and The HoneyDripper.
  • Coordinate with the student leaders of each Student Media entity to produce marketing materials and formulate effective marketing campaigns.

Applicants are encouraged to promptly submit applications, as interviews will be scheduled immediately and the position will close once a significant pool of applications has been assembled. Location
