She rolls her eyes, her annoyance building as yet again, her reputation as a “real cowgirl” is in jeopardy. Walking by a mirror, she stops and hears the voices in her head – “You look like a sex shop cowgirl”. The rage lights a flame, an idea. She’ll give the people what they want. A fake cowgirl, a girl who has never touched hay. A girl who doesn’t know the difference between a cow and horse. A girl who thinks cowgirl is just a sex posi – moving on.
She’ll give them fake, she’ll give them sexy, she IS a cowgirl. No one can change who she is or what she rides. A powerhouse on a horse, a superhero with the whip. She saddles up.
