In tribute to tights past, the pulled and torn; scene-era neon layering has made its resurgence within the tight-knit community that celebrates the unusual and graphic, delicate yet punch-packing accessory that is printed stockings. This statement takes a new and excessive form in ‘Nylon Phantasmic: the Ghost of Stockings Anew,’ where the classic stocking finds an unusual place in its contour to atypical parts of the human physique. Stockings over the head are no longer reserved for breaking and entering, rather offering a fresh take on the stretch material that most any has admitted themself to at least once. In an age where fashion takes form in anything and everything, rely on the juxtaposition of delicacy and durability that the nylon stocking provides for ages to come.
