It’s the 2000s. A new millennium has begun and it’s a pivotal time where it’s commonplace to layer tank tops, skirts over baggy jeans and a multitude of accessories. Celebrities are pulling out all the stops to movie premieres. The fashion is eccentric and all over the place. An icon, Ashley Tisdale appears on the red-carpet premiere of Disney’s Ice Princess in the year 2005. She wears a white graphic t-shirt, light blue jeans, a gold sequined mini skirt, a few necklaces, a pair of gold flats and a piano bag clutch. She is sporting everything in her closet. Soon after, celebrities of all platforms followed in her footsteps, recreating and reimagining the mix and match look. She paved the way for generations to come. She’s an icon, she’s a legend and she IS the blueprint.
