Silver or gold? The timeless argument. Personally, I can’t get enough of silver. Silver earrings, silver eyeshadow and silver tops for going out. Even my dogs are silver! Some may call me a metalhead or a crazy lady with a tin foil hat, but I stand by my fashion choices. Mr. Midas cannot help but be jealous of my silver touch.
As vintage fashion rises, consumers have continued to look back to trends of the past. From the iconic mini skirt and silver eyeshadow combo of the 2000’s to the chromatic jumpsuits of the 70’s, there is room for every style preference within the silver world. Unfortunately for silver producers, our supply has almost entirely run out. Producers are forced to manufacture their own silver, while gold miners are stuck digging in the dirt. What does this mean for those of us who bear silver? Not only are we fashionable, but our accessories are rare and desirable, and will soon be harder and harder to get. Silver is the unattainable metal of the future.
