As we purchase more, the amount of packaging waste we create increases. Shipping facilities and companies need to be more cognizant of the size and material of the packages they ship or else our waste will start to quite literally consume us.
The solutions?
Biodegradable packaging products, smaller boxes for our contents, and overall being more aware of our usage habits as a human race. But old habits die hard, similar to the plastic and other non-environmentally friendly debris that we dispose of. This is an editorial ode to the remnants of our increasing consumption.
